Disc Repair
Help Preserve the Games, Movies, and Music You Love
A scratched disc doesn't always have to mean the end.
Whether it's a favorite game, movie, music CD, or hard-to-find title from your collection, professional disc resurfacing can often reduce scratches and give damaged discs another chance.
Final Boss offers in-store disc repair for $5 per disc, with most repairs completed the same day.
Bring your disc by the store and we'll take a look.

How Disc Repair Works
1. Bring Your Disc In
Bring your scratched disc to Final Boss during regular business hours.
2. We'll Inspect It
We'll check the disc for scratches, cracks, severe damage, and other problems that may affect whether resurfacing can help.
3. We'll Resurface It
If the disc is a good candidate for repair, we'll use our professional resurfacing equipment to reduce or remove surface damage.
4. Pick It Up
Most repairs can be completed the same day, depending on how busy the store is and how many discs you bring in.
NOTE: Disc repair is $5 per disc.
What Disc Repair Can β and Can't β Fix
Professional resurfacing is designed to address scratches and other damage to the playing surface of a disc.
Many scratched discs can be significantly improved, but not every damaged disc can be repaired.
Resurfacing may not be able to help with:
Cracks
Severe or unusually deep gouges
Damage to the disc's data layer
Disc rot or deterioration
Other internal damage unrelated to the playing surface
Results also depend on the type and severity of the damage.
Resurfacing can improve the physical condition of a disc, but we cannot guarantee that every repaired disc will function properly afterward. We'll always be honest about what we think is possible before beginning any work.

Resurfacing addresses physical surface damage, but scratches aren't the only reason a disc may stop working. Other damage or deterioration may prevent a disc from functioning even after resurfacing.
